Breas Medical is the recipient of the Together Tech Better World Developer Award 2020. The company was founded in Gothenburg almost 30 years ago and is now a global Medtech company at the forefront of technology.
Breas Medical and the new Vivo 1-2-3 ventilator family provide people with respiratory difficulties the opportunity to live a richer life.
The product has many advantages compared to previous machines; it has more and improved features, longer battery life, and is easier to use. It is IP22 approved, complying with the new legal requirements. Vivo 1-2-3 is user-friendly with its two customized interfaces. One is simpler for the patient, and one is more advanced for the healthcare provider. The healthcare provider can more precisely analyze and adjust the treatment.

Developing a complex medical technology product from idea to market requires many different competencies over a long period and the ability to organize and lead large development projects. The Together Tech Vivo team has had overall responsibility for the development of Vivo 1-2-3, including HW, SW, MEK, testing, and commissioning.

Breas Medical is now producing Vivo 1-2-3 with triple capacity to supply hospitals and other healthcare providers worldwide with reliable and easy-to-use respiratory aids.
