Broad test rig experience
Because the testing in our customers’ industries is often repetitive and requires many tests during a short period, we develop and work with various types of test rigs. Some examples are HIL, MIL, and SIL rigs, which are based on Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow – and we often have on-going assignments involving testing with these types of rig.
We develop everything from small and simple test equipment, which is used for verification and trouble-shooting in the development phase, to complete and automatic tests systems, which are used in production. They can be manual, pneumatic, electrical, semiautomatic, or fully automatic test systems built on modules that can be reused and have smart contact interfaces. Equipment that we have produced is now all around the world on site at large electronics manufacturers that have broad production and are keen to have equipment with great reliability and flexibility.
For the telecom industry, we have developed everything from simpler assembly equipment, such as ESD-approved disassembly tools for battery removal, to complete, automatic, RF-sealed test fixtures for function testing and calibration. We have been able to reduce the number of fixtures that are needed through many innovative module solutions, and flexible platforms with adjustment for different loads.
